Tonight, Ely, Raymund, Marcus, and Buddy will be performing in front of thousands of Eraserheads fans. I am one of your die-hard fans. I am not happy with how other NGOs and the DOH itself handled this. This is supposedly a free concert sponsored by Philip Morris. Anyway, I don’t care if this is not free. I’d pay even if it costs me a month-worth of moolah for the Eraserheads. They have been my inspiration since high school. And nothing changed a bit up to now.
Eraserheads is not just a band. It is an icon of our generation. To quote an article I read from the Internet:
The Eraserheads have gone from being the biggest “flukes” to being the biggest thing ever to happen to the Philippine music industry.
And tonight’s concert will be the biggest concert of all time — at least in this present generation. My mom and dad had Beatles, Rico J Puno, and VST back then. This is the Eraserheads generation.
But I cannot watch you live in this concert. I cannot go there at The Fort tonight. I am sorry guys: I have to go see about a girl.
yeah, they were our beatles (but not as phenomenal). i actually don’t think the reunion was a great idea. i kind of fancy having to dream when they’re gonna get back together. no more to fancy about… haha. but i didn’t watch, coz it was supposed to be free.
Kami din. We really wanted to see their concert (even went as far as registering months before) kaya lang hindi na sya free. ;(

Let the younger generation just dream/imagine the experience of watching these guys perform. Hehe, madamot na kung madamot tayo!
You know what would have been cool, though? They should have performed on a rooftop (á la Beatles) somewhere in the Makati Business District, and waited to be escorted outside by MMDAs (hehe, bati na ba si Binay at Bayani?).
sabi nung isang DJ, last saturday, walang senador, walang artista, walang station manager, walang tatay at nanay, walang mga anak… nung araw na iyon, they are all eraserheads fans.
wow.
and it would really be great if they’d perform on top of PSE maybe? hehehe. ayus!

the e-heads is definitely a generational icon. kaya lang, i heard that something happened to Ely B. during their concert? is it true that he was rushed to the hospital? i hope he’s ok.
